Redistribution and Subscriber Fees

"As a programmer, it was refreshing to be able to talk to sales people that spoke my language. The process moved along so quickly and I was confident that our needs were understood correctly. We couldn't be happier with Barchart's service or reliability!"

- Bryan Thompson, Rural Radio Network - KRVN - KNEB - KTIC

There are three types of fees that exchanges charge:

  • Redistribution Fees: Thesee are fees exchanges charge that apply to web sites, data sellers and organizations that collect and redistribute data. In general, redistribution fees apply to firms (or individuals who act like firms), who pass data along to another person or firm. For example, Barchart / DDF pays redistribution fees.

  • Subscriber Fees: These are fees exchanges charge that are paid by individuals (sometimes by firms) who are the end recipients or subscribers of data. In general, subscriber fees only apply to real-time data.

  • Data Feed Surcharges:  These are fees the exchanges charge that apply to firms which receive a data feed whether or not the data is used internally only or redistributed externally.

While we do our best to keep these prices up-to-date, please verify with the individual exchange for their current fees, or contact us for help in pricing a complete solution to your needs.
